Care Instructions

• Use an old pillowcase or cotton bag to prevent dust from accumulating during off-season storage.
• Storing handbags in plastic bags will encourage mold and mildew growth.
• Stuff bags with tissue paper when not in use so they will keep their shape.
• Avoid hanging handbags. Store the bags upright or lie flat to preserve the shape.

Leather is tanned in order to bring out the individual texture and feel of the leather. The richness of colour will continue to develop as the material ages and through personal use.

To ensure that your leather strap stays at its best for as long as possible, please bear in mind the guidelines below:

• Please remember that use and exposure to sunlight will cause the leather to darken over time.
• Try to keep your leather product dry. Leather is a permeable material, so water, and other liquids may stain.
• If your leather product is exposed to water, wipe it dry with a clean cloth straight away and allow to dry slowly at room temperature. Never expose to direct heat as this may cause the leather to dry too quickly, which could result in hardening or cracking. If necessary, reshape the item using newspaper or similar while drying.
• When using products to clean or restore leather please test on a small inconspicuous area first. Many products will darken tanned leather.
• If metal fastenings are being cleaned, care should be taken to protect leather from chemicals and polishing rags.
